Reports announced this week that Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were headed to court on March 22 to work out a custody arrangement regarding their twin sons, Max and Bob. But yesterday, Sheen used his new Twitter outlet to tell the world that a legal meeting wouldn't be necessary.
"Not sure what all the legal noise is about... just verbally reached a deal with B. no court mon. yay..." he posted on Thursday. He added, "Yet the opposition felt it necessary to still harass me with old gibberish.... odd? perhaps. transparent? you betcha'!"
Initially, sources told People.com that Mueller was considering the a deal that was proposed by the actor, who lost custody of the boys earlier this week.
"Brooke is thinking over Charlie's offer and has not decided if she will take it," the insider said. "Brooke is very fragile right now."
But, by Thursday evening, TMZ.com reported that Mueller had called the deal off because Sheen can't seem to stop talking to the media. You see, the first term in the deal was that he was to keep quiet about their agreement -- something Charlie seems to be having a very hard time with.
Also, the deal was reportedly not exactly how Sheen described it. Instead of custody just being restored, the deal required that when Charlie had the twins a monitor would be present.
It seems that if Sheen had just stopped rambling for one second, he may have had a chance to improve his situation. Too bad he just can't keep his mouth -- or his Twitter account -- quiet.
